Andança is Gondwana Brasil’s official magazine, an annual publication launched to celebrate the brand’s 23rd anniversary. It does more than present destinations—it inspires wonder. This magazine was born from the desire to offer more than just information: it tells stories, creates connections, and sparks curiosity. Each page was crafted to deliver true value, offering a journalistic perspective on Brazil through an experience that goes beyond the ordinary.
“The naming process, for instance, was a very special phase. Andança was a suggestion inspired by the brand’s rebranding, based on previous studies. The name carries a profound meaning and represents the very essence of the magazine and Gondwana. Overall, it was a challenging project precisely because of its magnitude. From planning to execution, every step required care to meet deadlines and maintain a strategic vision aligned with objectives. But the final result undoubtedly made every stage worthwhile,” shares Bárbara Ataide, the journalist behind the project.
The Theme of the First Edition
Choosing the theme for the first edition was a journey in itself. We couldn’t start anywhere else but Paraná’s coastline, the birthplace of Gondwana and a place that holds deep memories and values for our brand. It’s where everything began and where we find inspiration to share Brazil’s most beautiful treasures: its landscapes, its stories, and the people who make these destinations so special.
Andança also reflects Gondwana’s commitment to sustainable tourism and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It’s not just about traveling but about promoting journeys with responsibility, respect, and positive impact.
The magazine features inspiring profiles, articles by special guests, and content that delves into Brazil’s cultural and natural wealth with a “S” instead of a “Z.” All this is presented with careful design, infographics, and interactive tools that make the reader’s experience more complete and engaging.
Andança is not just a magazine; it’s an invitation to rediscover Brazil with an open heart and a curious soul. On every page, in every story, it carries the desire to connect people, cultures, and destinations in an authentic and transformative way.
The magazine’s first major milestone occurred on one of the most important stages of world tourism: WTM London. It was there that Camila Barp and Renatha Caggiano proudly represented Gondwana, with the first editions in hand, distributing Andança to key international partners. It’s worth noting that the print run is limited!
